I joined Drive in August 2016. I immediately fell in love with the place. The workouts are innovative and all the trainers are amazing. I even healed my shoulder thanks to yoga. The real transformation occurred in January when I joined the nine week boot camp challenge. Mike Collins was our team trainer and he was dedicated to our team's success. The bootcamp not only included physical training but proper nutrition and full fledged support. By the end of the challenge, I lost 16 pounds, increased my pushups/minute from 24 to 51, decreased my 500m rower time from 1:37 to 1:28, and increased my inverted back row from 13 to 25. Since then, multiple members have asked me how I did it and complimented my results. If my story can motivate one person to do the same, then it is all worth it. I started practicing yoga several years ago out of curiosity. I was fortunate enough to have Jake as one of my very first instructors, and he easily recognized that I was new to yoga — and had some past injuries to contend with. He took the time to discuss the issues and my level of practice, and with my curiosity developed into a daily practice that has come to mean much to me.
